Critical text written on the occasion of the collective show "Di una memoria, di un presente, di un futuro - Pittori e Scultori Campani della II, III e IV generazione" for Amalfi by night, at the Ancient Arsenals of the Amalfi Republic of Salerno, 1999.

Stefania Sabatino is a bright star, made by true light, color and shape which have harmonious characteristic feature of certainties without shades and attractions to a science typical of who, inside a knowledge of manner, takes up positions in the indication of a beauty without compromises with nature of life.
Sabatino really acts with resolution during the take of bodies' life, placing the evidence in carnal pleasures assumed by a measured fusion among volume, shape and color, without rhetorical confluences or occasional additions, easy distractions, giving her motivations for researched explanatory sympathy.
She continuously acts in the representation further anatomic passages, lingering on harmonic natural senses with skilled graphic art supporting her macroscopic sense and aesthetic roundness, to demonstrate that for her each shape, in its own enlargement, is made by embraces, lines and colors, beautiful characteristic features with the establishment of remarkable softening, primary essences of colors' conquest; therefore her compositions are always complicated: figures overlap, twist, make a show of themselves in a corroborant aesthetics of embraces and detachments, they completely cling; parts are glimpsed by light and vaporous assumptions (...).
